The Best Betting Sites in December 2025
December's best betting sites and the hottest sports events during the festive period.
Christmas is upon us and the festive sports period swings into action. December is always a cracker when it comes to sport, with a jam-packed football calendar and an array of major events. Let’s take a look at the best betting sites for your festive betting needs.
We’ve reviewed over 100 trusted bookmakers to find where punters can get the best value, biggest free bet offers and most exciting promos this month.
World Championship Darts
Whenever you think of the World Championship Darts, you think Christmas. The Ally Pally is jam-packed with patrons in ill-fitting Christmas jumpers who have indulged a bit too much in turkey and Quality Street. The Darts World Championships take place from December to January, with the final held early in the new year.
The world’s best players battle it out for the £1,000,000 prize fund, all chasing the ultimate prize in darts. It’s a brilliant sport to bet on, with match odds, set betting and plenty of markets that can ramp up the value.
Despite Paddy Power sponsoring, we find the best darts betting sites are William Hill and BetMGM. You’ll get full market coverage from both, along with daily specials and price boosts to help replace the money you blew on a Michael Kors handbag for the missus or that home-brew kit you bought for your fella.

Last month we told you about a new and exciting betting brand called TigerBet launching in December. They’ve roared into action on a brand-new platform offering smooth navigation and quick, easy betting, alongside strong daily offers and price boosts.
TigerClub is also now available, where you can get up to £100 in free bets every month. Their new blog is launching soon featuring top pundits, including Barry Jones, DAZN’s headline boxing commentator. TigerBet is a great addition to the UK betting market and promises to offer something different for punters. Look out for racing promos throughout Christmas, especially Boxing Day as they headline-sponsor the racing at Fontwell on the same afternoon as the King George VI Chase. We’re looking forward to what TigerBet brings in the new year.

The Premier League is warming up nicely, unlike your grandma’s feet thanks to Keir Starmer. Man City are clinging on to Arsenal, while Chelsea held out for a draw against the Gunners on the last day of November. The festive period is always crucial in the title race, with a good run of form putting you firmly in the driving seat. There are six rounds of Premier League action, offering plenty of betting opportunities. Unfortunately, there are no Boxing Day fixtures this year, they’ve moved to the 27th. Boooo!
When it comes to football betting, 10bet are a great option. They’re one of the top brands for promotions that offer you increased value. With competitive odds to match, 10bet is a strong betting site to add to your Christmas wishlist.

The UFC has had a tough year with a lack of big-name champions and many familiar stars either retiring or drifting away. Fresh blood is needed if they’re to reach the heights of the McGregor years again. Liverpool’s very own Paddy Pimblett may be the man to lead that charge, but we’ll need to wait until next year to find out.

Merab Dvalishvili defends his title against former champ Petr Yan, and a wealth of former champions are on the undercard, including the Polish powerhouse Jan Blachowicz, Brandon Moreno and the ever-annoying Henry Cejudo. Unless you’re big on the UFC, you won’t be paying PPV for this one, but you can still have a bet and we recommend UFC betting partner NetBet, who are strong on MMA. You’ll get great odds and big-fight specials across the whole card. They definitely pack a punch when it comes to UFC 323 betting.

If I’m honest, I didn’t even know the Ashes were on, and if you’re English you probably wish they weren’t. England were dreadful in Test 1; so bad, in fact, that many have already written them off. They head to The Gabba in Brisbane on 4 December, a ground where Australia rarely lose. They then have three more Tests in December before the final match in Sydney on 4 January.
The Aussies will be odds-on favourites next Thursday at around 8/15 and just 9/2 for a 5–0 whitewash.

Take a look at Sporting Index, where spread betting on cricket’s high numbers make it ideal. You can predict players’ runs and wickets and win big, though the risk is high too, so always gamble responsibly. Check out Sporting Index, and if you haven’t tried spread betting before, cricket is the perfect sport to start with.

I’m not a big fan of F1 (it’s all a bit tedious) but I know some of you love it, and Abu Dhabi hosts the final race of the season. Max Verstappen won the Qatar Grand Prix last week, and the title battle is set to go down to the final round as championship leader Lando Norris could only finish fourth. We haven’t seen excitement like this since Verstappen robbed Hamilton in Abu Dhabi in 2021 after a total clown show from race control.

This sets up one of the most exciting betting races of the season. Look no further than Bwin, who have previously been major sponsors of F1. You’ll get strong odds on both Verstappen and Norris at 7/5 and 5/2 respectively.

The iconic Welsh National at Chepstow is always a treat after the King George on Boxing Day. A gruelling four-mile slog for the toughest horses, it often throws up surprise winners, giving punters a big return heading into the new year. Coral once again are the main sponsors, and when it comes to racing you won’t find much better. Expect extra places, Best Odds Guaranteed and a range of specials to maximise your winnings. It will be live on ITV alongside a jam-packed card of racing across the UK and Ireland.

The King George VI Chase is widely regarded as the second-most prestigious chase in the National Hunt calendar. The very best racehorses battle it out over three miles in the mud at Kempton. It’s a huge deal for racing fans and rivals the Cheltenham Festival for sheer quality. Ladbrokes are the feature sponsors and have been since 2019, and they’ll be big on promotions for the race, including extra places and Best Odds Guaranteed. They always go big during the festive period, and this year will be no different.

Keep an eye on the winner; several iconic horses have completed the King George/Gold Cup double in the same season, including Kauto Star, Desert Orchid and Best Mate. No horse has done it in over ten years. Could this be the year?
