The Sky Bet Championship continues this week with a full list of midweek fixtures. Here at Betting Sites we take a look at some of the key fixtures as four clubs aim to maintain their perfect start to the season.
Leaders, Cardiff City, were hugely impressive at the weekend, sweeping aside promotion hopefuls, Aston Villa, in front of a pumped up home crowd. The Bluebirds are at home again on Tuesday, this time, the visitors to the Cardiff City Stadium will be manager, Neil Warnock's old side, Sheffield United.
Warnock has an impressive record against The Blades, losing just once in seven previous meetings since leaving Bramall Lane a decade ago. The visitors saw the long-standing unbeaten run ended at the weekend as promotion favourites, Middlesbrough, inflicted a first defeat on Chris Wilder's side since January.
Cardiff are one of four sides tied on maximum points after two games, with the other three sides all playing away from home on Tuesday. Wolves face a tricky test away to Derby County, Nottingham Forest make the relatively short trip to Barnsley, whilst Ipswich Town can win their first three league games for the first time since their 1999/00 promotion season.
Forest's opponents, Barnsley, are one of three teams yet to get off the mark in this campaign. The Tykes have suffered two defeats from two so far, along with Burton Albion and Brentford. Although Burton have another tough fixture away at Middlesbrough, Brentford will hope to kick-start their season by continuing their strong recent form against Tuesday's opponents, Bristol City.
Ahead of their meeting at Griffin Park, Brentford have won five and drawn one of their last six meetings with Bristol City. Following two impressive wins, beating Barnsley 3-1 in the league and Plymouth 5-0 in the Carabao Cup, Bristol were beaten 3-1 by Birmingham City at the weekend.
