With just one month until the new Premier League season starts, the squads of many of the league's top teams are starting to take shape.
Just this week, Arsenal have smashed their club transfer record with the signing of French forward, Alexandre Lacazette whilst Everton's busy summer could be set to continue with Wayne Rooney set to make a return to Goodison Park after thirteen years at Manchester United.
Here at Betting Sites we take a look at the league's big guns, players in, the latest transfer rumours and their odds for the new season.
Last season - Third
Major signings – Bernardo Silva, Ederson Moraes
Potential transfers – Dani Alves, Kyle Walker, Ryan Bertrand
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 7/4
Manchester City were underwhelming in Pep Guardiola's debut season but many experts believe City will be the team to beat this season.
The likes of John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan and Gabriel Jesus will all benefit from a full pre-season under their belt whilst the signing of Monaco midfielder, Bernardo Silva, looks like a shrewd acquisition. Ederson Moraes became the most expensive goalkeeper of all time and is likely to replace the under-fire Claudio Bravo as the City number one.
With Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Aleksandar Kolarov all departing in the summer, City will need at least two new full backs. Dani Alves looks set to join from Juventus whilst Kyle Walker, Ryan Bertrand and Benjamin Mendy all remain on Guardiola's radar.
Last season - Sixth
Major signings – Victor Lindelof
Potential transfers – Alvaro Morata, Nemanja Matic
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 10/3
Jose Mourinho has already expressed his frustration at the lack of transfer activity at Old Trafford. Long-term defensive target, Victor Lindelof has already signed but United missed out on number one target, Antoine Griezmann.
With Wayne Rooney expected to follow Zlatan Ibrahimovic in exiting Old Trafford, a forward must be a priority. With Griezmann signing a new deal at Atletico Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo looking increasingly likely to stay at Real Madrid and Romelu Lukaku expected to favour a return to Chelsea, signing Morata is crucial for United's title aspirations.
Last season - Winners
Major signings – Willy Caballero
Potential transfers – Tiemoue Bakayoko, Antonio Rudiger, Alex Sandro, Romelu Lukaku
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 7/2
Antonio Conte has refused to rest on his laurels after winning the Premier League last season. Willy Caballero has come in as Thibaut Courtois' understudy, replacing Bournemouth-bound Asmir Begovic.
Conte has made no secret of his desire to sign a new centre back, especially with John Terry and Nathan Ake departing. Virgil van Dijk and Leonardo Bonucci are both targets but Antonio Rudiger seems the likeliest signing.
The big-money signings of Tiemoue Bakayoko, and Romelu Lukaku could rely on the departures of Nemanja Matic and Diego Costa respectively, whilst Alex Sandro could provide competition for Marcos Alonso on the left flank.
Last season - Second
Major signings - None
Potential transfers – Ross Barkley, Ricardo Pereira
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 8/1
The transfer market has been quiet so far for Spurs and manager, Mauricio Pochettino, will be delighted with that. Spurs aren't thought to be too concerned about recruiting players, with a young, well-balanced side already in place for another title charge. Tottenham's priority will be keeping their prized assets out of the clutches of their rivals. Kyle Walker, Eric Dier, Harry Kane and Dele Alli have all been linked with moves away from North London.
Last season - Fourth
Major signings – Dominic Solanke, Mohamed Salah
Potential transfers – Naby Keita
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 10/1
Jurgen Klopp has endured a frustrating summer so far, despite capturing Solanke and Salah. Liverpool were forced to withdraw from pursuing their number one defensive target, Virgil van Dijk, after Southampton accused The Reds of illegally tapping up the Dutch international.
The signing of Salah will excite Liverpool fans and Solanke could prove to be a real bargain. Fans will be concerned about Klopp's inability to bring in a top class centre half or a natural left back.
Last season - Fifth
Major signings – Sead Kolasinac, Alexandre Lacazette
Potential transfers – Thomas Lemar, Riyad Mahrez
Premier League odds (courtesy of Sky Bet) - 11/1
After a miserable 2016/17 season, many expected Arsene Wenger to step aside this summer. Instead, the Frenchman signed a new two-year contract and has set about bringing some more silverware to the Emirates.
Whilst the likes of Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez have all been linked to the Gunners, the best signing Arsenal could make all summer would be convincing Man City and Bayern Munich target, Alexis Sanchez, to sign a new contract.
Olivier Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Santi Cazorla could all depart as Wenger rebuilds.
With the rumour mills in full flow, the bookmakers' odds are likely to change between now and the opening day of the season. Betting Sites will keep you up to date on the latest odds and offers available through all our betting partners.
